“the world is your oyster”
“your wild and free decade”
“these are the best years of your life”
we are offering a one-off workshop for young adults navigating some of the prescriptions and ideas that often go hand in hand with transitioning into “adulthood”.
we’ve heard people share that ideas surrounding this life stage can have them feeling lost, overwhelmed, inadequate and like they are the only ones “getting it wrong”. as a response to the isolating effects of these ideas we are intentionally offering a community space where we can bring together shared experiences and voices.
let’s come together, make visible how this shows up in our lives and generate our own and collective wisdoms for living.
for who: our unique circumstances and cultural norms mean transitioning into “adulthood” may feel like it’s happening at different points in your life. So rather than set an age criteria we are open to all who feel this applies to them.
we welcome people from all backgrounds and embrace difference and diversity in relation to race, gender, sexuality, intellectual and physical ability, neurodiversity, religion.
when: 1st May 2025 10am-12pm
platform: zoom
how much: £40 (or pay what you can afford)
facilitators: dr fran lassman & dr hannah stringer- clinical psychologists & narrative therapists
* we are offering this as a one-off workshop initially, with possibilities for co-researching and developing further group spaces in future
** we want this to be an accessible way of seeking support, both in terms of cost and anything else that would make it easier to participate. please feel free to bring a friend/family member along and don't hesitate to ask for any other adjustments you'd like us to consider.
