supervision
we offer one to one and group supervision to psychologists and therapists who are interested in narrative and community-informed ways of working.
online supervision groups
1) narrative therapy in practice:
we offer an online supervision group for those wanting to explore and co-research bringing narrative and community ideas into their current ways of working. the group is open to anyone who has an interest in narrative therapy and has completed at least Level 1 of narrative training, or received equivalent narrative supervision previously. we have welcomed a diverse group of practitioners who have bought themes/dilemmas from their different practices.
intentions:
each session will focus on a particular theme from narrative therapy and we will explore this theme by staying close to moments from practice. themes we are considering include externalizing and naming; reauthoring; bringing creativity into practice, re-membering, the body community.
some things previous participants have said:
“an opportunity to be immersed in narrative thinking again…and how to use these ideas to help navigate some of the challenges with working in teams and the wider organization”
“a very insightful, thoughtful and empowering experience”
“I took so much away, ideas I can take into my practice”
“really useful to have a space to immerse myself in narrative ideas and was nourishing to be together with others sharing similar values and ideas. It has helped me to stay connected to narrative ideas within my practice and allowed for me to have space to think more about dilemmas based on conversations within the space. It has given me ideas on how to take some of my clinical work forward and how narrative approaches/practice might support those to go in several different directions”
“it has been helpful to hear the challenges and steps that other group members are taking in their work. Having the opportunity to learn as part of a group from narrative ideas. It has made a difference to my approach to my own work particularly in group settings.”
evening group: next four session group begins october 2025
dates: 6.10.25; 3.11.25; 01.12.25; 12.01.25

2) narrative therapy and the body, the experiential, the therapeutic relationship: a 4-session consultation group
this group will focus on the experiential, the body, and the relational in narrative therapy. whilst grounded in narrative therapy principles, ideas and ethics, we will explore:
possibilities for consulting the ideas, knowledges and communities of our “multi storied bodies”, both within the group space and within our therapeutic conversations;
how we might consult with and respond to the different rhythms and pace of our body communities and the stories, experiences and positions these connect us with
our multistoried bodies in the “landscape of action” and how we might invite this landscape into conversations
consulting with what arrives and “dances” in the therapy relationship and bringing these exchanges into the landscape of action.
we will be explicitly offering a feminist and decolonial lens in the co-research, resisting mastery/control/separation over our bodies or the world around us, inviting in multiplicity and expansiveness.
in starting each session with something experiential, you’ll be invited to locate yourself- and the body communities you are connected with- into the space. This invitation is both an ethical choice and response to power and an invitation to notice the discourses arriving in these spaces. From here we’ll move into inviting others to join- people who consult with you, team members, community- for close-to-practice explorations of these ideas.
i am offering some group themes below, but with an openness and fluidity for these to shift in response to what we create in the group.
session 1: inviting the body community into the group space and our other conversations.
session 2: inviting rhythm and pace into co-created therapy spaces in playful ways
session 3: inviting the body community into the “landscape of action”
session 4: the therapy relationship and how we might attend to this in narratively informed ways
some reflections from someone i’ve been in therapeutic conversations with:
“I have a new friendship now, a loving and friendly one. I appreciate what members of my body need, what they do for me and I talk to all different parts now depending on which part needs me”
some feedback from a workshop I offered around these ideas:
"really helped me to think about the people I work with and how we meet together, how I hear, how they respond”
“moved to talk with the older people I work with, to think about silence and how I can meet them in their silence”
daytime group begins oct 2025
dates: 9.10.25, 13.11.25, 11.12.25, 22.1.26 (first group is full and there is a waiting list for a second group starting later in oct)

cost: £100 for four sessions (£60 for trainees)
