supervision
we offer one to one and group supervision to psychologists and therapists who are interested in narrative and community-informed ways of working.
online supervision groups
1) narrative therapy in practice:
we offer an online supervision group for those wanting to explore and co-research bringing narrative and community ideas into their current ways of working. the group is open to anyone who has an interest in narrative therapy and has completed at least Level 1 of narrative training, or received equivalent narrative supervision previously. we have welcomed a diverse group of practitioners who have bought themes/dilemmas from their different practices.
intentions:
we hope that the group will develop shared intentions and that the space will evolve based on the groups’ hopes. we have focused on inviting practitioners interested in or starting out on their narrative journey. with this in mind we are looking to develop:
- a space that will model and embody narrative principles and that can scaffold working practices using a narrative frame
- a space to consider therapeutic process within narrative practice
some things previous participants have said:
“an opportunity to be immersed in narrative thinking again…and how to use these ideas to help navigate some of the challenges with working in teams and the wider organization”
“a very insightful, thoughtful and empowering experience”
“I took so much away, ideas I can take into my practice”
evening group: next four session group begins june 2025
dates: 30.06 21.07 08.09 20.10
time: 7:15-8:30pm GMT
cost: £100 for four sessions (£60 for trainees)
2) narrative therapy & the spaces in between dialogue: the body, the experiential & the therapy relationship
this four session experiential space will explore what happens in the spaces between dialogue: through attending to the body community, the ways we arrive and move in conversations with one another; the “relational dances” we step into with those we are in conversation with; the rhythms, pace, locations, silences and shifting locations. in attending to these spaces we are intentionally disrupting colonialist relationships with our body communities and with time/space and our mastery/separation over the world around us.
what other stories, wisdoms, communities, co-creation with the world around us might these stories outside of dialogue connect us with? and how do we make this visible as part of the co-research?
in our efforts to practice in decentered and influential ways, we will consider how we can attend to the multiplicity of stories that are co-created in therapeutic spaces.
some feedback from a workshop around these ideas:
"really helped me to think about the people I work with and how we meet together, how I hear, how they respond”
“moved to talk with the older people I work with, to think about silence and how I can meet them in their silence”
daytime group begins July 2025
dates: 17.7 11.9 9.10 13.11
time (GMT): 12pm
cost: £100 for four sessions (£60 for trainees)
