dr fran lassman
i have fifteen years of experience working with young people, families and adults across NHS, private and educational sectors. my approach is creative, informal and collaborative. i view conversations as a co-researched project, whereby an individual’s own knowledges, beliefs and practices can form the foundations of preferred meaning-making in their lives.
i am often invited into witnessing peoples’ stories at significant transition points in their lives. this includes- but is not limited to- people coming to terms with loss, living with the challenges of long-term health conditions, a discovery of neurodiversity, fertility issues, parenthood, sexuality, ageing and traumatic events.
i am passionate about narrative and community-psychology approaches and invite the body into therapeutic exchanges. i enjoy facilitating community events and the current focus is on events for neurodivergent adults and parents. i conduct adhd assessments for adults within a neuroaffirming framework- please contact me to discuss.
