Jess (she/her) is a clinical psychologist currently working in an adults London NHS drug and alcohol service. I am currently leading on co-creating an Under 30s pathway alongside young adults, recognising the barriers to accessing mental health and substance services.

I have over 15 years experience working in NHS, community and charity sectors. I have extensive experience working with young adults, supporting them in facing a range of challenges, including addiction, relationships with body, physical health, spirituality, identity, loss, injustice, violence, abuse and trauma.

At the heart of my approach is building relationships centred around consent, collaboration, safety and respect. I have extensive experience working with people who have been marginalised from mental health services, working alongside communities to co-create services.

My approach considers the ways in context and injustices impact on people’s health and wellbeing. I am informed by response-based practices, exploring how people are always finding ways to respond to harm and injustice.

I welcome people from all backgrounds, embracing difference and diversity in relation to race, gender, sexuality, intellectual and physical ability, neurodiversity, religion.

My approach privileges clients’ knowledges, beliefs and preferred mediums of healing, and I draw from creativity and nature alongside my knowledge in psychological therapies.

I am passionate about narrative therapy, community psychology and social justice-informed practices. I am trained in a range of approaches including CBT, CFT and ACT.
